The LRFC Lions U9's and LRFC Falcons U10's played in their age group Cup Finals on Sunday 22nd April at the Abbey Business Stadium.
The LRFC Lions U9's played first losing 2-1 in an excellent match. Having taken the lead in the first half to go in 1-0 at the break they conceded direct from the kick off for the second half and then with virtually the last kick to finish 2-1. They finish with the league title but were unable to do the double. The support for the team was excellent and kept cheering and encouraging for the whole match.
The LRFC Falcons U10's went one better in the game that followed running out 3-1 winners.
