It is compulsory for teams to exchange Player Registration Cards with their opponents before each fixture. Following a GFA decision during a hearing last season, the following should be noted:
- If a team does not have a card for a player then that player is ineligible and must not play in the match.
- If a team has no cards for the entire team (or if only 6 cards or less are available), then the match must not take place. The facts must be reported to the League who will deal with it as a broken fixture, and the defaulting team should pay the referee his/her entire fee and expenses.
- If any game takes place then no protest will be entertained thereafter relating to the failure to exchange or produce player ID cards.
