Rule Regarding Player Registration Cards

The rule around player registration cards for the new season are worth noting...

It is compulsory for teams to exchange Player Registration Cards with their opponents before each fixture. Following a GFA decision during a hearing last season, the following should be noted:
  • If a team does not have a card for a player then that player is ineligible and must not play in the match.
  • If a team has no cards for the entire team (or if only 6 cards or less are available), then the match must not take place. The facts must be reported to the League who will deal with it as a broken fixture, and the defaulting team should pay the referee his/her entire fee and expenses.
  • If any game takes place then no protest will be entertained thereafter relating to the failure to exchange or produce player ID cards.
